THE CHALLENGE
When we launched [Figure 1.A], we aimed to bridge the gap between science and society by celebrating the beauty in science. We started with zero visibility, no funding, and only 40 submissions for a short exhibition. Our challenge was to build a sustainable, and consistent strategy that could lead to the engagement of both; the scientific community and the general public.

OUR STRATEGIC APPROACH
Over the last seven years, we've built [Figure 1.A] from the ground up. We developed the visual identity, website, and fundraising strategy. We managed logistics and installations, while creating targeted communication campaigns for scientists, artists and the public.

The project has evolved from a 3-day into a 3-week exhibition at the Hôtel de Ville of Lausanne. We now receive 300 submissions annually from over 20 countries, with hundreds of visitors to the exhibition and associated events (talks, workshops, round tables).
Figure 1A shows us how design, art, and visual harmony can make science speak more clearly and powerfully.
